Dave Robson is a Gazette columnist and journalist, with a news patch covering Redcar, Eston, Normanby and South Bank. A born-and-bred Teessider, he trained at Darlington College of Technology before working for newspapers in Alnwick and Scarborough. A dad-of-two and a long-suffering Boro fan, he's been with the Gazette since 1992. He was named North-east Columnist of the Year in 2010.
