Tom moves into middle-age
LIFE begins at 40 for Black Country MP Tom Watson, who celebrated his birthday on Monday.
Now that he is well and truly middle-aged, Mr Watson has been settling into a more genteel lifestyle: "You take long baths before going to bed early rather than the pub...you are happy when people give you socks for your birthday."
But the biggest change is that "you're less certain than you used to be," he notes.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing for a politician?
