Jacqui's a match for the alpha-male
REDDITCH MP Jacqui Smith has proved an instant hit as the new Home Secretary.
Her composed approach to the latest terror attacks, including a well-received statement in the House of Commons on Monday, has been praised by Labour MPs.
David Davis, the Shadow Home Secretary, is unashamedly proud of the Labour ministers he has helped to force out of office - including Beverley Hughes, David Blunkett and Charles Clarke.
But he's been full of praise when it comes to Ms Smith, applauding her calmness and dignity.
Could it be that Davis, the alpha-male of British politics, has finally met his match?
