The word is prioritisation, MP is told

WORCESTERSHIRE MP Richard Taylor (Ind Wyre Forest) tried to hold a debate on "healthcare rationing" in the House of Commons.

He wanted to talk about the way that certain drugs and treatments were only available to a limited number of people, even when there were many patients that could benefit from them.

But he was surprised when Commons authorities changed the name of his debate to "healthcare prioritisation".

He said: "I was told to my amazement that the word rationing was not really acceptable on the front of government business papers."
