The less serious side of the budget
POLITICS is a serious business. When Chancellor Alistair Darling delivers his Budget speech today, he will hold Britain's future economic prosperity in his hands.
So Ladbrokes are offering odds on what colour tie he will wear.
They are offering odds of 6-4 on blue and 3-1 on red. Blue, of course, is the traditional colour of the Conservatives, but it is said to signify authority and has long been a favourite with Labour frontbenchers.
