THE credit crunch hasn’t stopped every bank trying to thrust money into our hands.
Norman Fowler, the former MP for Sutton Coldfield and Cabinet Minister, now Lord Fowler, reveals he is still receiving “generous” offers.
“A letter tells me I have been ‘pre-selected to apply’ for a credit card which comes with an initial credit limit of up to £2,500 and ‘a great choice of card designs’,” he said.
“All that and an annual rate of interest on debts of a mere 34.9 per cent!”
