Blind devotion beggars belief

WOMANKIND'S forgiveness of rotters is legendary - but one woman takes it to unbelievable lengths.

Sixty-year-old Pam Wright is visiting her one-time lover, Suffolk Strangler Steve Wright, in prison.

The pair greet each other with long kisses when she visits her murderer at Belmarsh nick, where he's serving life with no chance of parole.

How can she permit him to talk to her, knowing the obscenities he heaped on those sad young women?

How can she hold the hands that strangled?

Mrs Wright's son says she's daft but lonely. I'd say she was the saddest woman of whom I've heard.
