BIRMINGHAM city centre has possibly the most inconvenient conveniences in the country.I discovered this the other day, when I headed to the loos below the ramp in Stephenson Street.The gents has been closed for two years, apparently.The council say it's all down to "drainage problems".Believe me, I know a thing or two about those, having virtually sprung a leak myself in the hunt for a public toilet I could use. WAKEFIELD Prison has promised to review its "management strategy" after Soham murderer Ian Huntley took an overdose in his cell.Quite right too.Next time, instead of allowing him to secretly hoard a stash of tranquillisers, they should just hand him a packet of the most lethal pills they can find.Killers like Huntley deserve to die and want to die.Giving them the means to take their own life is hardly more cruel than allowing them to fester away for years without hope of release.
