Have your say on the future of Digbeth

BIRMINGHAM Mail readers are invited to come and help shape the future of Digbeth at a public meeting next week.

Numerous new apartments are planned for the area, and the face of one of the city’s best loved districts is going to change beyond recognition over the next few years.

Our Stirrer Summit next Thursday – organised in conjunction with this newspaper - will explore how to balance the area’s traditional vibrant nightlife with residents’ demand for peace and quiet.

Developer Andy Tollett from the Naus Group will be outlining his vision for Digbeth’s new Connaught Square, and leading City councillors will also be there to hear your views.

Come and join us at 7.45pm next Thursday – September 6 – at the Spotted Dog pub in Alcester Street.
