Villa duo take time out to rock out
ASTON Villa footballers mixed with rock fans as Guns N' Roses brought their Chinese Democracy tour to the NEC.
Soccer stars Olof Mellberg and Martin Laursen put the rigours of pre-season training and the uncertain situation at Villa behind them to enjoy an evening of hard rockin'.
"I grew up listening to Guns N' Roses in Sweden but this is the first time I've seen them," said Olof. "I like rock music and have been to quite a few concerts in Birmingham, including Green Day and Foo Fighters."
Added Martin: "I'm not as big a fan of Guns N' Roses as Olof but I do like listening to their music."
