Wonder week for Agbonlahor

GABBY Agbonlahor rejoiced in his second crucial goal for Villa in the space of five days and admitted it capped off a wonderful week.
The England Under-21 striker signed a new contract last week but was keen to pay tribute to his team-mates.
"It was the perfect week for me. On Monday I scored in front of the Holte End and this goal was in front of our fans again," he said. "It meant a lot to do it for the fans. They were in great form all afternoon and we were happy to
send them home with a win. It was a team effort at Blackburn and I thought everyone had a great game, especially Patrik Berger and Gareth Barry.
"It was really a team thing and hopefully we've all come through the recent hard times together."
Agbonlahor took his tally for the season to eight as his switch to centre-forward paid off handsomely.
"It was great to score the winning goal, but anyone could have got it because we created a number of chances," he said. "It was a lovely ball from Patrik. I was just waiting for him to pass it and making sure I stayed onside. He's got the composure to play those sort of passes.
"I felt a few defenders catching me up, but I just thought I'd try and take it to the side of the keeper and take an early shot."
He added: "If we can beat Wigan now, that will definitely count as a great Easter. They say this period can be crucial in the Premiership.
"It sends us into the Wigan game with a lot of confidence."
