Doubts over Delaney's future

MARTIN O'Neill has intimated that Welsh international defender Mark Delaney may be set to announce his retirement from the game.
Delaney underwent major surjery in the United States last year and was thought to be on track for a return to fitnessn within a month.
But manager Martin O'Neill revealed last night that Delaney is set to make an imminent decision on his contract which runs until the end of September.
He said: "I think Mark may make the decision in the next few days. I would rather anything that has to be said comes from Mark first. That is probably the way he would want it."
