Chasetown 1 Villa Res 4

A YOUNG Villa reserve side proved too strong for Chasetown with Damian Bellon (2), Dominic Hoffbauer and Jonathan Hogg all on target.

Villa took the lead on 10 minutes when Mikaelsson saw his header from an Albrighton cross blocked on the line and Damian Bellon slotted home the rebound.

Just past the half-hour the scores were level as Boyle was unable to hold a cross and Parsons fired into an empty net.

Villa regained the lead on 37minutes when Perrow handled an Earls cross and Damian Bellon made no mistake from the spot.

Substitute Hoffbauer increased Villa's lead with 15 minutes remaining, heading home from a Ricketts centre.

Villa's youngsters completed a good night as Earls was pulled back in the box on 86 and Hogg hammered home from the spot.

VILLA: Boyle, Lund, Earls, Clancy, Clarke, Herd, D.Bellon, Y.Bellon, Albrighton, Hogg, MIkaelsson.
