Agent admits Luke Moore wants to leave Aston Villa

LUKE Moore could leave Villa as early as January after his agent admitted he was looking to leave the club after rejecting a new contract.

Villa took up a one-year option on the 21-year-old, meaning he now has 18 months left on his deal.

But as the Birmingham Mail revealed yesterday, Moore has rejected a new offer and that will now alert Middlesbrough, Fulham and Blues - all three have been long-term admirers.

Moore's representative Steve Kutner said: "He rejected the contract because he feels he needs to move on. He needs to be playing first-team football at this stage of his career.

"He is 21 now and has been very unlucky that he hurt his shoulder last season when he did. Luke has already proved he can do it in the Premier League."
