Gabriel Agbonlahor has more goals in his sights for Aston Villa

Gabriel Agbonlahor scores.

GABBY Agbonlahor aims to score in his fifth successive game to edge Villa closer to Europe against Wigan.

The 21-year-old striker took his tally for the season to 11 goals in the 2-2 draw at Everton.

"It's nice to be in double figures. That should be one of your targets at the start of the season and hopefully I can get a few more", he said.

"I've got four goals in four games and that's what any striker wants. I went through a run without scoring but I knew the goals would come. I just had to keep working hard."

Agbonlahor believes Villa are well-placed for fifth spot after what he described a "big result" at Goodison.

"I've scored a few goals against Everton but the main thing was that we didn't lose. We wanted to get something from the game.

"It was a fast-paced second-half. Everyone was working hard for each other and I think we showed the attitude we've got and the determination not to let our heads drop when we go a goal down.

"Everton are a top side, so to get a point at their place was a big result."
