Villa must keep feet on the ground says Luke Young

The in-form defender has made a big success of his switch to left-back.
It was perhaps one of the reasons why Cristiano Ronaldo switched flanks and Young was only fleetingly left for dead by Ji-Sung Park in the draw with Manchester United.
Young says Villa’s approach to the game is “very refreshing”. He continued: “I’ve been at clubs before where we’ve gone to grounds and we’ve tried to shut up shop but the way we do things here is we respect the big sides but we also come to win games and that is really good.
“I came here to challenge myself as much as anything, to come here and be part of a good, strong squad and see how far we can take it. I’m enjoying it and hopefully it will continue.”
Young says Villa fully deserved their point. “It was end-to-end stuff with both sides trying to win the game,’’ he said.
“Confidence is up from the result at Arsenal and we felt we would go into the game with the same attitude as last week – get at them, give it a right go and try and win the game.
“The front players don’t stay in one position, they rotate and are very difficult to pick up, especially on the break.
‘‘But we are as well, we dug in and hung in there and another day we might have nicked it.
“Brad Friedel only had the one save to make in the first half and after that there wasn’t a lot for him to do.
‘‘That’s pleasing when you consider the class they have in their side going forward.”
