to force his way into his Premier League plans after personal circumstance robbed him of an appearance in the last group game at Slavia Prague.
“His wife had a baby so he missed out in Prague where he would have played,’’ said O’Neill.
“I don’t want to be putting undue pressure on him but he will play tomorrow night.
“He is desperate for a chance to start and play 90 minutes and I think it will be great for him.
“He is fresh now and is raring to go. His enthusiasm should be at the top.
“And he has put the ball in the net for us before now on many an occasion. His record is there for all to see.”
