“We just need to concentrate on our own game, no matter whether we are playing the same time, a day early, a day late.

“As long as we are winning games, teams aren’t going to catch us.”

Emile Heskey returns to the side today after missing the FA Cup win over Doncaster.

Davies added: “Emile could be a massive signing.

“He brings quality and competition and that could be key to pushing our Champions League aim all the way.”
