Aston Villa: John Carew ready to answer Martin O’Neill call
Villa head for Eastlands looking to make it eight straight away wins. Villa battered City 4-2 on the opening day of the season but even with Craig Bellamy and Robinho picking up injuries at West Ham yesterday they will be a different proposition at Eastlands.
“Manchester City are a different team from that which we played on the opening day,” admitted Carew.
“They have new players who are world class - if they decide to play. There are a couple of them who can do anything with a football if they decide to. It will be a big challenge for us. We have not won for five games but we have just the league left for us to concentrate upon.”
