Nigel Reo-Coker: Hard work will keep Aston Villa in top four

VILLA rose to fourth in the table for the first time this season after their 2-1 win at Spurs in September.

And Nigel Reo-Coker is adamant that hard graft can keep them there over the remaining ten games.

“It’s about hard work and determination,” he said.

“There’s a new lease of life at Villa. It’s not about our opponents.

“We can be as strong as we want to be.

“The Premier League is very strong and competitive – we are just focusing on getting points on the board.”

Reo-Coker has happy memories of facing Tottenham who come to Villa Park tomorrow.

His only league goal in his two seasons in claret and blue arrived in that White Hart Lane match in September.

Reo-Coker notched his first league goal in 21 months in Villa’s win – his last coming in a 1-0 West Ham victory over Manchester United at Upton Park in December 2006.
