Aston Villa: We have to do better at home says Martin O'Neill

MARTIN O’Neill is desperate to end Villa’s home hoodoo after the Villa Park public booed his team off for the second game running.
Villa have now dropped more points, 23 than they have won, 22, in front of their own fans after three defeats, seven draws and five wins.
And Villa left the field to a chorus of jeers following yesterday’s defeat to Tottenham, just as they had done in their disappointing draw with Stoke.
“We have to do better at Villa Park,” admitted O’Neill.
“We have to galvanise ourselves.
“I said only a few days ago that, in truth, the players do enjoy playing here, but I obviously didn’t see that reaction coming.
“In the case of Wigan we’ve got to try and force the ball over the line to win a game.
“In the case of Stoke City, we’ve got to see the game through.
“And against Tottenham it reminded me a little bit of the Arsenal game on Boxing Day.
“We dominated the first half.
“We were a goal behind and didn’t deserve to be.
