Aston Villa fans have mixed views on Gabriel Agbonlahor

Aston Villa and England striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has been getting some stick from the Villa fans lately. Yesterday Martin O'Neill and former Villa legend Paul McGrath both leapt to Gabby's defence. But what do you think?

Here's a selection of your views...

villasotc: Last August I called Gbby a headless chicken who should have been dropped 8 months earlier.
Well I would just like to take this time and apologise to any headless chickens that may have been offended. The ironic cheers when Gabby was subbed says it all.

Martin O'Neill has had his day, he has taken us as far as he is capable. As I have said before his transfer policy stinks, his tactics are one dimensional lacking a plan b. His persistence with Gabby is criminal. His shuffling of players is ludicrous (we ended the game yesterday with 3 out of the back 4 out of position)

Whatever happened to "like for like" when making subs. I do not believe he can handle established big name players which is why we lack them.
his european selections were an insult to the club and fans. His luck has run out folks and even you claret and blue tinted specs buffoons should realise that.

Randy - yes Martin O'Neill - no
My season ticket renewal form has gone in the bin and I bet its not the only one.

I will pick and choose my games from next season on which is something i have never done.
only the derbys and big games for me, not to watch mon's teams but to watch my beloved ASTON VILLA.

IanVilla4Eva: Was Gabby the only player that didn't do the business at the weekend?
NO

Why has no one had a moan at the way that Brad flapped the ball out for both of their goals?

Now dont get me wrong, I am generally a fan of Friedels, and yes I do have a moan about Gabby's lack of interest at times, but come on we are fans of the whole team and the whole club, and I feel that we as fans should encourage and support the team as a whole and not ever boo any player that is wearing the famous claret and blue!

Were we that bad in our last game?

Spuds had three attacks and scored from two of them, for the rest of the game we were all over them!
