Liverpool FC v Aston Villa: The fans speak out!
Paul: We must go 5 in the midfield with Shorey playing left back until Bouma is ready to oust him out of the team.
That team will win us matches maybe not in the next two games but certainly the six afterwards.
I live in hope but there isnt much point moaning like some (not you matty) until the end of the season as that does nothing to help us
MJW: Lets be honest we have been punching above our weight all season. Liverpool would have beaten any team in the league yesterday, though we made it very easy for them. Its been wating to happen for weeks now. its easy in hindsight but we shouldve kept with the UAFA cup, it was our only real chance of any glory, fourth was never on,
We dont look like a team anymore its all disjointed, players out of position. Carew looked like the only who knew what he was doing, but he hasnt got ninty mins in him. Gabby looked fed up before he went on. I dont want to be a doom merchant, but I cant see where another win is coming from, I bet liverpool are upset we have Manu next.
ForevaVillain: Proved just how tactically inept Mon is, it also proved to many that Mon has probably now shot his bolt, and gone as far as he can with us as a club.
Who will Mon blame for his team formation for yesterday
My highlight was when he bought Gardner on for Carew in the 87 th minute, it brought a rye smile to my face
Plan A , this guy doesn't have plan A or plan B, it is all hit and hope.
Still a total lack of movement on and off the ball, a lack of ideas, lack of guidance, lack of quality, lack of squad depth.
God I can't beleive that i'm going to watch the same team play Man ure, I must be mad
I will stick with what I have said before in that I don't see us winning again this season unless it is pure luck.
AstonLane: I bought my UEFA cup game tickets weeks in advance and took all 5 members of my family with high hopes and so after the result of the second leg I was extremely disappointed with MON and gutted for the poor fans that travelled all the way to Russia at a very expensive cost i'm sure. That decision not only showed clear disregard for the fans but completely changed the face of our season as all results following that game went against us.
Secondly I can not for the life of me get my head round the Emile Heskey buy.
He has probably the most goal ratio for a premier league striker with about 1 every 8 games or something like that which has shown as he had only scored 2 goals for Wigan all season til January and he hasn't scored for us since his debut yet Carew has been dropped to allow him in the team and since then we can't win games.
Now is it just me or is it that since Heskeys arrival along with the UEFA cup fiasco our season took a turn for the worse?
