Ashley Young mystified by Aston Villa's slump in form

“If we finish higher than we did last year then we should be pleased with that.
“We’re disappointed that the last few games haven’t gone our way and we haven’t been winning but Everton went through that.
“With the squad we’ve got we have done brilliant.
“We said at the start of the season that as long as we finish higher than last year that would be progress.”
Young’s goal at Bolton was his first in the league since December and only his sixth of the season.
He added: “I don’t worry about whether I’m scoring or not as long as the team are winning that’s all that counts. It’s a team game.”
