Zat Knight happy to stay at Aston Villa, if he's wanted

“He’s also a nice guy. If he is to retire we are going to miss him and I don’t think we can replace him.

Knight says the 3-1 defeat at Fulham must act as a spur with two games left to play.

“Hopefully this will have given us a kick up the backside to finish the season on a high,’’ he said.

‘We want to finish fifth and it is still in our hands.

“We need to go to Middlesbrough all guns blazing and put in a strong performance, keep a clean sheet and then continue that into the last home game against Newcastle.”
