Former Middlesbrough star Luke Young says Aston Villa will relegate former side

FORMER Middlesbrough defender Luke Young will be gunning for a Villa victory tomorrow afternoon – even if it sends his old club down.
Young returns to the Riverside for the first time knowing that a Villa win is likely to condemn Gareth Southgate’s strugglers to relegation.
The versatile full-back, who joined Villa from Boro for £6million last summer, is still in touch with many of his former Teeside team-mates.
But Young admits there will be no room for sentiment when Martin O’Neill’s men attempt to strengthen their grip on fifth position in the league.
“I’ve had thoughts about it,” he said.
“We’ll be going up there and they’ll be needing to beat us. I have a lot of friends I still speak to up there and I’m sure I’ll be having a chat with them in the build-up to that game.
“I hope we win and that they can still survive, but it’s definitely going to be a result that determines whether they stay up or not.
