It’s all change inside Villa Park

IT might be all quiet on the football front at Villa Park at the moment but it’s all systems go behind the scenes as parts of the stadium are revamped.
The Holte Suite is being renovated to accommodate corporate and private conferences for up to 800 delegates and banqueting for up to 650 guests.
It will include a private foyer and mezzanine bar, but will remain a fans’ venue on matchdays.
Work is also well advanced to improve the Sky Lounge at the top of the Trinity Road stand, which will offer stunning views of Villa Park after being dormant for some time.
On the floor below, the Park Suite, which was previously used to entertain sponsors, is being turned into a new directors’ lounge with their former area being transformed into The 1874, a new restaurant named in honour of the year the club was founded.
All of the changes in the Trinity Road are sympathetic to the style of the original stand, including the stain glass windows and flooring.
