EMILE Heskey wants tomorrow’s showdown against former club Wigan to bring out the best in him after reassuring Villa that he has much more to offer.
Heskey admits he still has a point to prove to the Villa Park faithful who are yet to fully embrace him after a slow start and his old Blues allegiances.

The England powerhouse’s arrival in January coincided with the beginning of a slump which caused Martin O’Neill’s men to tumble from fourth to sixth in the table.
But Heskey has scored twice in pre-season, against Porto in the Peace Cup and in last weekend’s friendly win over Fiorentina, and he is looking forward to a fresh start.
“The lads want to do as well as we can, you always look at the last season and want to improve on it,” he said.
