Sep 25 2009 by Mathew Kendrick, Birmingham Mail
ASTON Villa's tough-tackling teenager Fabian Delph accepts he must clean up his act to avoid being branded a claret and blue bad-boy.
Delph is in line to keep his first-team place at Blackburn tomorrow after impressing against Cardiff in Wednesday’s Carling Cup win.

But the former Leeds midfielder has already picked up two yellow cards, despite only starting three games for Martin O’Neill’s men.
And Delph is eager to improve his discipline in the Premier League after totting up a hefty 13 bookings for his former club last term.
“I love to tackle, probably a bit too much,” said Delph.
“To be fair I can be a bit over-enthusiastic, but I’m not that much of a bad-boy. I got 13 yellow cards last year, which was slightly better than when I played in the reserve team before that season.
