MARC Albrighton reckons England wide-boys Ashley Young and James Milner are helping as well as hindering his hopes of winging his way into the Villa team.
Albrighton admits he faces an almighty task to dislodge Young from the left flank or Milner from the right in Martin O’Neill’s Premier League starting line-up.
But the Tamworth-born teenager is convinced the lessons he learns from the Three Lions duo will stand him in good stead throughout his career.
Albrighton, who celebrates his 20th birthday tomorrow, has been restricted to cameo appearances against Wigan, Rapid Vienna and Cardiff this term.
“I’ve got Ash and James, who are England internationals now, to compete with,” he said.
“For me to be trying to push them out of the team to get a game, it’s going to be hard work.
“But I’ve just got to keep my head down and learn from what they tell me, which I can do every single day.
