ASHLEY Young says there will be no stopping the confident claret and blue bandwagon when it returns to Villa Park on Saturday.
Martin O’Neill’s side have been on the road for three weeks now, with their last home game being the FA Cup fifth-round replay against Crystal Palace on February 24.
Flying winger Young is glad for some long-awaited home comforts, but realises Saturday afternoon in Aston will be far from relaxing.
It’s a lunchtime kick-off against Black Country neighbours Wolves up next for the Champions League hopefuls.
While Mick McCarthy’s men are still fighting for their Premier League lives, the old gold and black brigade will be buoyed by last weekend’s morale-boosting victory over Burnley.
But Young can see nothing other than another three points in the bag for in-form Villa.
“It’s always nice to be back at home as we’ve been on the road for quite a while,” said the 24-year-old.
“But we’ve had a lot of success and hopefully we’ll get that back at Villa Park on Saturday.
“It will be a big game for different reasons for us and for Wolves.
“We’re looking to try and get into that fourth spot and kick on and they’re trying to keep themselves away from the bottom three.
“It’s going to be a tough game but I’ve got every thought that we are going to go and get the three points.
“We know it’s going to be tough. When we went down to Molineux we didn’t have a great performance and we came out with a draw but I think we’re full of confidence now and everybody is looking forward to that game. It’s an early kick-off, we’re at home and everybody is looking forward to it.”
