As Aston Villa and Birmingham City prepare for arguably the biggest derby game for five decades, the city’s meerkat’s have chosen who they think will win.
The family of nine, who live at the Birmingham Nature Centre in Cannon Hill Park, were given a choice between the two clubs.
Birmingham City and Aston Villa banners were placed on rocks in their enclosure as the animals were kept in their hutch.
And when the cute creatures were released their decision was unanimous.
For all nine meerkats descended on the Aston Villa flag, ignoring the Birmingham City banner completely.
