Aston Villa: Gerard Houllier pays tribute to Jonathan Hogg

GERARD Houllier has praised Jonathan Hogg's "what you see is what you get" approach after handing the midfield workhorse a three-year contract to develop at Villa.
Hogg, who turned 22 on Monday, has made five starts for the claret and blues this season after being given his debut in the Europea League draw at Rapid Vienna in August.
The former Middlesborough youngster has also played in the Premier League against Manchester United, Blackburn and Liverpool and in the Carling Cup against Birmingham.
His new deal until 2013 is a reward for the dedication Hogg has shown to battle back from a series of serious injuries including cruciate ligament damage.
