OUTCASTS Stephen Warnock and Habib Beye have been accused of not caring about Villa and warned they might never play for the club again unless they mend their ways.
Warnock and Beye have been banished to training with the reserves in recent weeks after failing to show commitment to the claret and blue cause. Manager Gerard Houllier has questioned the out-of-form full backs’ attitudes towards the club since losing their places in his starting line-up.
Houllier has adopted a hard-line approach to rooting out disruptive players and has not included either Warnock or Beye in his squads in 2011.
Warnock, 29, was lined up for a loan to Liverpool or Wigan on Monday but neither move materialised and the left-back remains a Villa player.
The former Blackburn defender has not been in a matchday 18 since being axed from the first XI after the late December mauling at Manchester City.
As for Beye, Villa did not receive a single inquiry from any clubs interested in loaning or buying the ex-Newcastle right-back during the transfer window.
Beye, 33, has not played since starting in the mid-October loss at Sunderland and was last in the squad for the home defeat to Arsenal in November.
Even in the summer Villa could struggle to move on Warnock and Beye who are respectively contracted to the club until the summers of 2013 and 2012.
Asked if Warnock and Beye were part of his plans, Houllier hesitated before replying: “Erm...they must show the trust first and they must show that they like the club.
