West Ham Reserves 4 Blues Reserves 1

BLUES were beaten by a Bobby Zamora hat-trick after making a strong start at Upton Park last night.

Following a burst from the back by Jared Wilson, Jimmy Walker made a fantastic save and after a corner, Blues took the lead.

Stefan Milojevic, at close range, planted his header in off the post (39). Two minutes before the break Jack Collison equalised for West Ham and Zamora, on his comeback from injury, swivelled to fire them in front on 58 minutes.

Zamora went on to collect further goals in the 65th and 90th minutes. Mauro Zarate was a lively threat to the Hammers' defence early on.

BLUES: Doyle, Parnaby, Joyce, Schmitz, Wilson, Mutch, de Ridder, McPike, Milojevic (O'Brien 67), Zarate, Aydilek (Jervis 77). Not used: Lyness, Hunt, Rowe.
