BLUES went to Barnsley today again without influential midfielder Stephen Clemence.

And manager Steve Bruce described Andy Cole's participation as "highly unlikely".

Clemence missed Saturday's 1-0 loss by Burnley due to a rib injury and partially collapsed lung. He said he expected to be fit for Southampton's visit on Saturday.

Cole, who tore a hamstring in training two weeks ago, is also expected to be ready for that match.
