Rowan Vine extends QPR loan

ROWAN Vine's QPR loan has been for a further two months by Birmingham City.

Striker Vine has scored once at Loftus Road and has impressed new manager Luigi de Canio.

He said: "I have been impressed with his contribution so far and he is a great asset for us.

"His enthusiasm and professionalism is very good and I am looking forward to working with him in the months ahead."

Vine helped lift QPR off the bottom of the Championship during his original month's stay at Loftus Road.

Blues can recall him at any time after December 1, should they wish.
