Dulee's delight at trial with Birmingham City

Dulee Johnson

DULEE Johnson is confident he has done enough to earn a transfer to Blues from AIK Solna.

The Liberian midfielder claims personal terms would not be a problem and it was now down to the clubs to agree a fee.

"I'm impressed with what I saw at Birmingham," he told his personal website.

"[Alex] McLeish was happy with me, I was so happy to hear him praising me."

"Everything is done," he added. "It's left with me to sign a deal with Birmingham based on whatever agreement they arrive at with AIK. But on my part everything is clear.

"I'm certain AIK will allow me to go if Birmingham comes for a deal. My visit was a success and I do not regret it."

Johnson spent last week at Wast Hills being assessed by McLeish and his coaches.

The boss said he had been impressed by Johnson, but remained guarded as to whether he would be purchased.
