Krystian Pearce recalled by Blues

BLUES have done a U-turn and decided to recall England under-19 defender Krystian Pearce after his loan spell at Notts County ended on Saturday.
They had indicated to the Magpies they would extend the agreement.
The centre-half made nine appearances for Notts during the last two months. Manager Ian McParland said: "We had spoken to Birmingham last week and he was due to stay with us, but they have decided to take him back. It's a blow."
With Radhi Jaidi away at the African Cup of Nations, Rafael Schmitz having only returned from injury on Saturday at Arsenal, and Martin Taylor's future uncertain, Blues wanted more options at centre-half.
