Missed Chelsea chance gives Seb' the Blues

Sebastian Larsson holds his head in disbelief after missing a chance against Chelsea.

SEBASTIAN Larsson ruefully reflected on the chance that went begging.

He was waiting to applying the finishing touch to Olivier Kapo's cross a couple of yards out in the 57th minute, only to be cruelly deceived.

"Kapo came round, he did brilliantly, and I was ready," said the winger.

"The ball touched the keeper and bounced right up at me, I was so close in I couldn't adjust.

"It hit my knee before I really could react.

"It's one of those that stays in your head. I don't know, it bobbled up and had it not done that then I'm sure it would have been different.

"It was really disappointing," said Larsson, reflecting on the game as a whole.

"We got sloppy on a set-piece. It felt like we really controlled it, they didn't seem very dangerous.

"If there was one team who was going to win it, it was going to be us.

"It was a real sucker punch. But we have to take positives from it - and there were a lot - and make sure we perform like that in every game."

"To be honest, we would have been disappointed even if we had only drawn," he said.

"It was harsh, but we only have ourselves to blame. We didn't concentrate enough on a set-piece and let them score.

"We have been working on that, definitely. It's about making sure everyone switches on straight away."
