Cameron Jerome and Mehdi Nafti struck down by illness

CAMERON Jerome and Mehdi Nafti have given Birmingham City a scare this week after being struck down by a bug.

Neither were well enough to figure for Blues reserves at Villa on Monday night.

And Nafti was sent home from Wast Hills by Blues medical staff.

But Manager Alex McLeish said he was confident both would be available for Saturday's squad and that no other players would be affected.

Olivier Kapo (hamstring) and James McFadden (knee) are unlikely to be fit, however.
