Liam Ridgewell's in line for crunch-clash return

BLUES should have Liam Ridgewell available for the day of reckoning against Blackburn Rovers.

Ridgewell fell awkwardly on his ankle just before half-time at Fulham and had to be taken off at the break.

"Ridgewell has had this problem with his ankle before and he was back in seven days," said manager Alex McLeish.

"We don't feel it's as bad as the last one so we hope he makes it."

Mehdi Nafti, who missed the Craven Cottage game because of a thigh strain, should also be fit. But Garry O'Connor, who has not been included in the 16 during the past fortnight, is a doubt because of a thigh problem.
