Sebastian Larsson hints he could say at Birmingham City

SEBASTIAN Larsson has admitted that he won't be happy playing in the Championship - but he has no specific plans to desert Blues.

The winger said: "Of course I want to  play Premier League. There's nothing more than I want to do than play Premier League with Birmingham City.

"I'm sure grateful for the club giving me the chance to play first team football.

"I love it here. I haven't put one single thought into anything else because there has been so much about this [battle against relegation].

"All I can say is that I have two years left on my contract and I am happy here."

Keeping hold of Blues top performers is imperative.

"Of course," said Larsson, who comes into that category. "The better players you have, the better chance you have of bouncing back up.

"The club showed that a couple of years ago.

"If we can make sure we come straight back up and have a more stable season in many ways - on and off the pitch - then the club has a lot of potential."
