Teenage quartet released by Birmingham City

BLUES have released four young professionals, and handed new deals to another two.

Midfielders Asa Hall's and David Howland's contracts have not been renewed, along with goalkeeper Adam Legzdins and wideman Stefan Milojevic.

Jared Wilson and James McPike have both agreed one-year contracts.

Hall and Howland were loaned to Shrewsbury Town and Port Vale respectively this season and both have been offered deals by those clubs.

Milojevic was formerly with Monaco and was taken on after a trial period in October.

Legzdins spent most of last season at Halifax Town, who are on the brink of liquidation.

Defender Wilson made 10 reserve team appearances this season, having come up through the youth ranks.

Another Academy recruit, striker McPike, also 19, has missed much of the campaign through injury.
