Franck Queudrue and Olivier Kapo back on duty

Franck Queudrue (third from left) returns to training

FRANCK Queudrue and Olivier Kapo were back on duty for Blues at Wast Hills yesterday.

But both had to wait until finding out what punishment they would receive for failing to show up on Tuesday’s scheduled report-back date.

Manager Alex McLeish was in Scotland receiving an honorary degree from the University of Aberdeen, so didn’t speak to either player face-to-face.

Queudrue was despatched to do some work away from the main group as he attempts to catch up on his preparation.

Kapo was not able to take to the field as his arm is in a plaster cast following minor surgery that surprised Blues’ management staff. Both players were today set to be fined and censured by McLeish. Sone Aluko and Krystian Pearce were involved after returning from an England under-19 get-together ahead of the European Championship in the Czech Republic.
