Birmingham City to commission new Jeff Hall memorial clock
BLUES have announced that they plan to mark the 50th anniversary of Jeff Hall’s death from polio by commissioning a new clock, to be placed above the Main Stand at St Andrew’s.
Hall, an England full-back, died from the disease in April, 1959, aged just 29.
There used to be a clock in Hall’s memory above the old scoreboard, but it was dismantled when the Kop was turned into an all-seater stand in 1994.
Supporters are being asked to choose between three designs.
