Win was a team effort - Cameron Jerome

CAMERON Jerome said it was down to the team, not him, for Blues’ third straight home victory.
Jerome notched his first Championship goal of the season on his first start in all competitions to decide the game in Blues’ favour.
Jerome, who returned from a three-week absence due to a thigh injury, has been desperate to get a run in the side.
He said: “I don’t think I played as well as I can do, but I think the team performance was the most important thing.
“In this league it’s all about consistency and winning games – that’s how you get promoted – and that comes from teams, not individuals.
“We were really solid and hard to break down in the second half, all the lads dug in really well.
“We got the goal early in the second half, which was perfect for us, and after that we sat and then tried to break on them, which we could do using our pace up front.”
MEHDI Nafti admitted he let Blues down by getting sent off for a reckless tackle.
Cameron Jerome said: “I didn’t see too much of it, but if he has gone in with two feet or his feet off the ground that’s the rules.
“Mehdi was disappointed with himself, he is a great player and he always gives 100 per cent. He trains like that and tackles like that every day.
“He wouldn’t think it was a bad tackle – he would go in there expecting to win the ball and not trying to hurt anyone. That’s what he’s like as a player.”
But the referee had a decision to make and it will even itself up over the rest of the season hopefully.”
