No return for Hossam Ghaly
BLUES are not interested in taking Hossam Ghaly for a second time.
The Spurs midfielder was booted out by Steve Bruce after a day after reporting last summer for criticising the training, his team-mates and the facilities at Wast Hills.
Blues had agreed a £3million fee for Ghaly and were waiting for a work permit, so they were able to abandon the transfer.
Ghaly’s agent Bryan Yeubrey has claimed Blues, Bristol City and Sheffield United were among the front-runners for his signature on loan.
But Alex McLeish has no plans to take him, and the Egyptian would hardly have been warmly received after the controversy in any case.
