Nigel Quashie set to extend his loan at Birmingham City by another month
BLUES were today applying the finishing touches to Nigel Quashie’s loan extension.
The West Ham United midfielder has agreed to stay at St Andrew’s for a second month, taking him to the end of December. The Hammers have to rubber-stamp the deal and the Football League process the relevant paperwork, which was expected to be a formality.
Quashie was suspended for thematch at Swansea City on Friday night – which Blues won 3-2 – when manager Alex McLeish replaced him with Mehdi Nafti and then sent on Kemy Agustien as a substitute.
