David Sullivan admits fears over Birmingham City fans' complaints

“We got 15,700 for Ipswich and Reading, who I don’t consider to be as big a club as us, got 16,800 for a Monday night game that was live on television.
‘‘That’s scary, and obviously there’s something not right.
“But then you look at Sunderland and the enormous amount of money that Roy Keane has spent. Maybe some of our fans will think ‘well, maybe they’re not doing such a bad a job’.”
“I think in football people do have short memories,” Sullivan added.
“You’re only as good as your last three games. If you’re losing, we think ‘are we doing it right?’ as well as the fans.
‘‘Then you string a few results together and you’re back on course.”
